Romeo and Juliet

The Zefferelli film Romeo & Juliet is amazing. Olivia Hussey is the most beautiful woman in the world. When I was little, I watched it literally forty times and knew all the lines by heart.

So you can imagine my thrill this weekend when I discovered this Polish poster. It gives me that same lovely, exquisitely sad feeling that I had when I was younger, and I can't wait to have it up in my apartment to break hearts and inspire.

Valentines Gifts: Guys

The men in my life love cars. When I was little, I'd sit in my dad's lap when he watched the Grand Prix and he would tilt from side to side as the cars curved around the track. As I grew up, my brother and dad would drag us to car shows and races. And even today, they'll stop the car in a parking lot if a Porsche or Jaguar drives by, roll down the window, and tell us to be quiet. "Listen," they'll whisper. "Isn't that magnificent?"
