EDDY CURRY SUED BY CASUAL MALE

NO, "CASUAL MALE" ISN'T THE MALE EXOTIC DANCER THAT JASON CAFFEY, GARY PAYTON AND SAM CASSELL ROUGHED UP IN TORONTO BACK IN THE DAY

    From the Chicago Sun-Times:
When Eddy Curry wasn't wearing his Bulls uniform, he favored $1,400 cashmere sweaters and $350 dress shirts, a lawsuit filed Wednesday alleges.

Curry racked up a bill of more than $41,000 at Casual Male Retail Group, and two years later it remains unpaid, the suit says.

The company says Curry owes an additional $5,424 in interest from his 2006 shopping sprees.

''It's just a matter of him buying clothing he didn't pay for,'' said Edward Margolis, the attorney representing Casual Male and Jared M. Custom Clothing, a business popular with professional athletes that once was owned by Casual Male.

Margolis confirmed that the defendant was the former Bulls player, who is on the New York Knicks' roster.

Purchases on Curry's shopping trips, which occurred between January and April 2006, included $22,000 in suits, eight sweaters ranging from a $750 wool crew-neck to a $1,390 cashmere V-neck and more than $3,700 in ties.

First, a word for the wise, don't Google Image search for "Casual Male" because I'm sure it will bring up all kinds of shenanigans. Actually, Casual Male is a clothing store for exceptionally large men both in girth and in height. Don't google that last sentence either.

Casual Male is an amusing name for a store, but it still pales in comparison to my favorite chain: The Dress Barn. Man, I love that place. It's a store where cows, slampigs, and alien horse faces can go and be hosed down before getting some hunk of fabric roped to their disgusting fat bodies. What self-respecting HUMAN BEING want to shop at a BARN!?
