IN SHOCKING TURN OF EVENTS, CELTICS DESTROY CHICAGO BULLS

    THIS PICTURE IS WEIRD

PERKINS TAKES A TURN GOING F***** APESHIT AND THROWS IN A CAREER-HIGH 25 POINTS; RONDO HAS 15 ASSISTS; RAYRAY POPS OFF FOR 27; TONY ALLEN HAS THE BEST DUNK OF THE YEAR FOR THE C'S IN GARBAGE TIME

Not a lot to report here, it was a pretty easy victory for the Celtics. Rondo was on point again, Perkins was dumping in every putback, and Ray Ray was $$$ from distance. The Celtics shot 59% from the floor and from the third quarter on, per usual during this streak, it was all Celtics. I was impressed, watching it on my Slingbox per usual, at how many people were at the game despite the massive snowstorm.

There were only 2,661 no-shows scared away by the first major storm of the winter. Snow started falling in the afternoon and scared most drivers off the roads for the evening rush hour; most employers and schools sent people home early.

Rivers arranged for downtown hotel rooms for his players and encouraged them to stay in the city between the morning shootaround and the game. Many took him up on it, he said, and none had any trouble making it to the arena.

Many of the fans also cleared out before it was over to get an early start home, but Pierce was impressed that they came at all.

"This is Boston. This is not going to stop them,'' the Los Angeles native said. "I saw a guy jogging today - in shorts.''

The question is this, Keytown, did you at least give Paul a thumbs up as he drove past you?Source URL: http://ledger-heath.blogspot.com/2008/12/in-shocking-turn-of-events-celtics.html
