How did the Celtics beat the Knicks sans Big 3, in a sold-out MSG? Good question, but lets just say no one f*cks with Scal on free ice cream night. After 14 Edies Dream Bars, Scal put up a hearty 2 points 2 rebounds. Doesn't sound like much, but since he was on the floor for 19-Scalabrine-effect-filled minutes, there's no question Scal was the difference tonight.
Besides seeing Scal get some action, the other highlights from this game included the PA announcers trying to hide announcing Isiah's name by casually dropping it in-between a couple of assistant coaches. The fans were not fooled and gave ol' Zeek, the booing of his life.
