Thanks to Basketbawful for the heads-up, but some rando blogger is besmirching the honor of the venerable Bill Walker. This is what he says:
Listen, Kendall, watching Youtube clips entitled "Celtics punk rookie Bill Walker gets floored by T-Mac" might not be the best evidence from which to draw your insightful conclusions. Additionally, is having a reputation as a guy that will pee in a towel to stay in a game something you should be ashamed of? That's awesome!
Just so you know, Mr. Kendall, if that is your real name... this wasn't just a case of Bill Walker antagonizing everybody. The Rockets had their hand in it, as everyone would know that watched the game. Ron Artest sent Paul Pierce to the locker room with a pretty outrageous foul for the preseason. Walker then returned the favor with some rough play with TMac. TMac was then called for the flagrant foul on Walker. Additionally, TMac threatened to punch Eddie House later when House was innocently rubbing the soles of his shoes on his supple hands, forcing the handsome husband of Mike Bibby's sister to be protected by several other athletes. Yes- Bill Walker was certainly being an antagonist in this game, but a reputation for being a dick? When he's tangling with the most fragile and petulant superstar in professional sports (TMac), the 7'4" illegal screen wunderkind (Yao), and friggin' ARTEST!? I could see if he was pantsing Matt Bonner or giving Earl Boykins a swirlie... but please. He's going tit-for-tat with the team many believe will be the best in the West. Kudos to him.
As we've seen from following/worshiping James Posey, every candy-ass from sea to shining sea hates on the guys that play intense defense and don't back down from anybody.... but you need those guys. That's exactly why the Rockets signed Ron Artest. But, while the haters out there will continue to cry into their mother's lap after every hard foul they see on TV and then try to smear that player's good name on the interwebs afterward, we will continue to enjoy the intensity and self-confidence that gives us plays like this:

Former Kansas State Wildcat Bill Walker is making a name for himself in the NBA as a dick. The Boston Celtics rookie acts like a punk throughout this three-minute video. He tangles with all-stars Tracy McGrady and Yao Ming of the Houston Rockets, and McGrady knocks Walker on his ass. Walker apparently didn't learn his lesson. Later in the video, he starts pushing Ming, and riot-starter Ron Artest actually plays peacemaker. Nice, Walker. You actually made Artest appear angelic.
I agree with NBA Fanhouse: "Dude, it's pre-season, and you're a rookie. Stop starting brawls in the first quarter and show a little respect, my man. Unless of course, being an unlikeable front-runner with an imaginary chip on your shoulder is a pre-requisite for making the team. In which case, I completely understand ... especially when that team is the Celtics."
Maybe Walker is just tired of his old reputation as the guy who pees in towels during games.
